Sterling Physical Therapy & Wellness is a locally owned private practice committed to personalized care, clinical experience, and lasting results. With locations in Mt. Sterling and Owingsville, the practice has become a trusted provider of physical therapy services throughout the region. Founded in 2005 and led by owner Jamie England, Sterling Physical Therapy & Wellness has grown a reputation of hands-on, one-on-one care and a patient-first approach. With over 20 years of clinical experience, the team focuses on delivering individualized treatment plans designed to meet each patient's unique needs and goals.
From post-surgical recovery to chronic pain management and mobility training, every patient receives focused attention in a professional and supportive environment. The goal is simple: to help patients regain strength, restore movement, and return to activities they enjoy with confidence.
MEET THE TEAM

Jamie England, PT, MPT
Owner | Physical Therapist
Jamie England is the owner of Sterling Physical Therapy & Wellness and brings over 20 years of clinical experience to the practice. A native of Mt. Sterling, she earned her Bachelor's degree in Health Sciences and Master's degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Kentucky. Jamie co-founded Sterling Physical Therapy & Wellness in 2005 and became the sole owner in 2013. Her areas of expertise include vestibular rehabilitation, dry needling, strength training, and myofascial release. Jamie also has a Women's Health Certification. She is known for her hands-on, patient-focused approach and her commitment to helping individuals regain strength, mobility, and confidence. Jamie is deeply involved in the local community and has served in leadership roles including the Mt. Sterling Chamber of Commerce, Leadership Montgomery County, and MCTC PTA advisory board. She remains passionate about delivering high-quality, individualized care to every patient she serves.

Christen Jones Pate, PT, MPT
Physical Therapist
Christen Jones Pate brings 27 years of physical therapy experience across a variety of settings, including outpatient clinics, hospital-based care, and rehabilitation facilities. She earned her Bachelor's degree from Transylvania University and her Master's degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Kentucky. Her experience spans pediatric, orthopedics, sports medicine, industrial rehabilitation, aquatic therapy, geriatrics, and neurological rehabilitation. Christen has a strong focus on individualized care, with particular interest in orthopedic and sports-related injuries, stroke rehabilitation, manual therapy, and total joint recovery. A Bath County native, Christen is actively involved in the community and is dedicated to helping patients achieve improved function, mobility, and overall quality of life.

Loretta Moore, PTA
Physical Therapist Assistant
Loretta Moore has nearly 25 years of experience as a Physical Therapy Assistant, with a diverse background that includes acute care, skilled nursing facilities, home health, and outpatient therapy. She enjoys working with patients of all ages, with a special passion for geriatric care and addressing the unique needs of that population. Loretta graduated from the KCTCS Somerset PTA program in 2021 and later earned her Bachelor's degree in health science from Northern Kentucky University. In addition to her clinical work, she serves as a clinical adjunct instructor with the PTA program at the Mt. Sterling campus of Maysville Community and Technical College, where she enjoys mentoring and training future therapists.

Daniel Shelton, PTA
Physical Therapist Assistant
Daniel Shelton is a Physical Therapist Assistant dedicated to helping patients regain strength, mobility, and confidence throughout their rehabilitation journey. Originally from Mt. Sterling, Daniel joined Sterling Physical Therapy & Wellness after graduating from the Physical Therapist Assistant program at Maysville Community & Technical College. He also holds a Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science from Asbury University, where he played collegiate soccer. Daniel is passionate about supporting patients every step of the way and helping them continue their progress beyond therapy.

Jenny Manconi-Stanley
Office Manager
Jenny Maconi-Stanley serves as the Office Manager at Sterling Physical Therapy & Wellness and is often the first friendly face patients encounter. She plays a vital role in ensuring daily operations run smoothly while creating a welcoming and supportive environment for every patient. Known for her organization, efficiency, and genuine care for others, Jenny goes above and beyond to make each patient experience seamless from start to finish. Her dedication to both the team and the community reflects the level of service and professionalism patients can expect from Sterling Physical Therapy.
