What Can I Expect At My First Physical Therapy Visit?

We look forward to meeting you for your new patient appointment.

To best utilize your time in the office, it would be helpful for you to bring the following information to your initial appointment:

  • Your physician's referral
  • List of all medications and dosage amounts
  • X-rays/MRIs or other test performed by your physician
  • Insurance cards or worker's compensation information
  • Wearing loose-fitting, comfortable clothing

    During your inital visit, you will have a full physical assessment including mobility, posture, strength, and a comprehensive assessment of your condition. Assmessments are performed in a private treatment room. The initial visit also includes treatment and typically lasts about an hour.
